    false reports and suspension from enforcement team


    My son's account has been suspended for supposedly "inappropriate communication" my son is 9 and only plays with his friends. We can hear everything he says to his friends as he is in the same room as we are. Whoever has reported him has falsely reported
    him and I want this action to be reversed and taken off his profile.

    It is unfair that no one from the enforcement team has even contacted us to ask any questions they have just made assumptions and as a parent I am extremely angry!

    What makes me even angrier is that there is no way to contact the enforcement team to discuss this matter only via this forum or by trying to appeal the process which involves answering a whole lot of questions and once you get one incorrect answer you are
    denied.

    If my son had done something inappropriate I would accept this action but he done absolutely nothing wrong

    I want the enforcement team to contact me about this matter and have the issue rectified.

    To the person who reported him, you should be suspended for falsely accusing someone of doing something the never did!

    Hi there,

    Only an enforcement team member has the ability to issue suspensions. If you've done nothing against the
    Code of Conduct or Terms of Use you have nothing to worry about.

    Every report the enforcement team receives is investigated before a suspension is issued. False reports hurt the user who makes the report.

    No one but an enforcement team member can do anything to assist you with suspensions they issue. They do not use the forums.

    You will have to see if you can submit a
    case review     at the enforcement site: https://enforcement.xbox.com/

    Keep in mind each report is investigated before any suspensions are issued. It only takes one report. Multiple false reports hurt the user(s) submitting the false reports.

    The Enforcement team investigate all reports and it is done by a real life person. If a false report was made against you, you would not get a suspension. As Smwutches has stated, the Enforcement team do not use the forums and your only recourse is via
    their site.

    If it was a communication suspension, then data is collected when they report you. If you didn't break the code of conduct, you'd be fine. The enforcement team investigate reports and it is a myth that you can get false reported.

    Hi, as others have mentioned, a false complaint will not result in any enforcement action being taken, and an account that engages in excessive false reporting could be given an enforcement action due to abuse of the reporting system.

    If a user is reported while suspended, and the Xbox Enforcement Team finds evidence of a different infraction than the one which triggered the initial suspension, they may issue an additional suspension at that time. If the user, for example, sent abusive
    communications days apart, each of these could be enforced separately. That said, the Enforcement Team will only issue one suspension per each individual infraction. See this
