false reporting

my grandson was suspended for 24 hour on Xbox live. when I looked up the info it is so general I could not find what he did. he said someone playing told him he was going to report him next thing a suspension. why isn't it more clear as to time game and
exactly what occurred before handing out suspensions. even one day is one day of this paid subscription closed for him to play.

False Reporting

If someone harasses you online just report that person or block them from further abuse. If your son is a minor I suggest you to create a minor's account for him.

Every report gets investigated by XBLPET before a suspension is handed over so rest assured if your son has done nothing against the Code of Conduct you have nothing to worry about.

 

False reporting

I've been playing Gears of War 4 for two days straight and have come across the same toxic player twice and he sent me messages talking trash and telling me I suck, so I report him for the rude messages. The following day(today), he messages me an explicit
message telling me how dare I report him and blo blah curse words here and there and says he's going to get all his friends to report me. My question is will these reports against me actually hold weight? I didn't cuss at him in any messages or voice chat.

the day after the suspension my grandson was given a 7 day suspension. why all the secrecy? surely if we know what the cause is we can better get a grasp on the problem. But when you ask one of the gamers that was on the game that day, what happened, they
tell you oh, just a couple of the kids wanted to get jude suspended. I know Xbox doesn't need the money from a few customers but it is sad to not let us know what the charges are.

 

As long as your grandson is following the code of conduct which can be read here
https://enforcement.xbox.com/en-US/home/codeofconduct even if someone reports him then he will not be suspended but if he does anything that violates the code of conduct and it gets reported
then the enforcement team investigates the report and if there was a violation then they suspend the account if there was not a violation then they will not suspend the account.

With the seven day suspension you can go onto enforcement.xbox.com and file for a case review and appeal the suspension the enforcement team will then reinvestigate the report and determine if they can lift the suspension sooner.
