False Gamerscore

I share an xbox account with my younger brother and I've never really kept an eye on my gamerscore, I play games for the content, not the scores.

I recently downloaded the "True Achievements" app on Xbox One and created an account sometime last month, I just opened the site again on Internet Explorer and had a message about someone reporting my score as illegitimate.

My brother informed me that he somehow "Modded" our gamerscore to be very big and because I've just found out that he did it, I'm here to report it and would it be possible to have our gamerscore reset?

I used the support chat service and the person I spoke to asked me to create a post here explaining the situation.

I've always followed the rules and I hate that my brother caused our account to not be legit.

Broken games, unnecessary dlcs, false promises, a majority of gaming community are the cancers to gaming, not gamerscore/trophies.

 

PLEASE RESET MY GAMERSCORE.

If you want your gamerscore to be reset,
call support and they will sort it out for you.

 

You would have to have someone file a complaint on your account via the console. That is the only way to report it to the enforcement team. Once your are reset, you will not be able to er-earn any of the achievements you had before the reset.

 

I see, well now I feel like if someone files a complaint against me at any random time then I'll be reset so I kind of feel like I should just create a new account but SO much Destiny gameplay and I'll lose everything! :/

 

yes when you get reset the ENTIRE score gets set back to zero and you can only earn scores on games you have not played yet. it is best to start over if you are a game score junkie. FYI you should never share your account with anybody as if the other user
does something on the account YOU take the fall. you should have a 2nd account for the other user that way only THAT account would have been reset for score modding not yours.

No.Chances are you would of been caught & reset at some point anyway.

Anyone caught with a modded Gamerscore is reset,there are no exceptions.

 

My brother told me that it was a long time ago that he did it, years ago.

If we've gone SO long without anything happening, wouldn't it have been done by now? :/

 

probably nobody really noticed that it was fake there are people on Live that have high scores that are all legit. somebody clicked on your score saw how many of them were fake (dead giveaway is tons of game scores unlocked on the same date or ones that
should have a time stamp just say unlocked and the number of score for it), that person reported your tag the PET reviewed the report confirmed the score was boosted, and then reset the score. just be glad it was a reset, they would have had EVERY right to
perm ban the account for account tampering/modding.
