False Ban

I was playing Fortnite Battle Royale with my buddy and we were both in a party chat. We started playing "Squad" mode which is a game mode where players can choose to join a team with 3 other players making a 4 man team. While experiencing our gameplay, we
invited two other squad members into our xbox live party chat. One of the teamates "Lopsidedspade05" performed a "team-kill" (when a player kills their own team-mate) on my buddy who was also in the party chat, because Lopsidedspade05 did not recieve the weapon
he wanted. After that happened, i then proceeded to team-kill lopsidedspade05. After Lopsidedspade05 called me a "baby", i called him a "baby" in retaliation, and my friend kicked him out of the party chat because we dont accept team killing, aka, "Unsupporting
behavior/gameplay" in our group. Everything was fine and well until 15 minutes later i recieved a ban, limiting my communication with my friends, as i was unable to hear my friends, or talk to them in the current part chat i was inside of. I am upset because
i recieved a ban when the player who reported me was commiting "unsupporting behavior." Justice was served upon lopsidedspade05 until i was muted for performing the same exact behavior that he performed onto me. Can someone from xbox support explain why this
happened? Why didnt the other player recieve a ban? My friends tell me lopsidedspade05 is still able to contact them through messages, and one of my friends who was in our squad recieved a report notice as well, and he didn't do anything. ? Im super confused
as to what the lines are for recieving a ban, or performing a report upon someone else. Im considering cancelling my membership and/or selling my xbox one. This is not the first time this has happened. What does everyone else think of the situation? Should
Lopsidedspade05 have recieved a ban? Should I have recieved a ban? Should we both have recieved a ban? What should have been done? Thanks for any input on the situation. This is my last day off of work and now I can not talk with my friends, as thats what
i use 80% of my xbox account for.

Account Banned Falsely

So I've had a few issues with messaging on xbox but a couple months ago my account got banned for apparently Ddossing but that is completely false. As I do not know how nor do I have the equipment to Ddoss. I talked to support and they said my best bet would be to try to find an xbox ambassador on here since the enforcement team permanently banned my account and completely ignored what I had to say. What they do not know is they gave me the main reason I got banned and its completely false. So if there is an ambassador on here. Please help.

 

False Ban?

So i got on xbox and when i got on it says banned for two weeks, all ive been doing is playing bo2 with friends from school, this happened about three weeks ago but for 2 days, can anyone help me understand why this is happening?

 

Please do not prevent other players from commenting on this post. This post is meant to bring upon philosophical questions about xbox, and debate what the guidelines are/should be for reporting/recieving for a ban.

 

Support does not handle enforcement issues, so they would not be able to give you any information. The enforcement team do investigate complaints before they issue suspensions, so your suspension may not have been for that interaction but for something that
took place weeks before. It may have just been a coincidence that you received it around that time.

No one here can say whether or not you or he deserved a ban as none of us were actually there. If he did say something that violated the code of conduct, then he will most likely receive one.
