FALSE ADVERTISING by Xbox regarding the Elite Controller app!

Hi,

In one of Xbox's promotional videos for the Elite Controller App, Navin Kumar states "You can select between pre-built sensitivity curves, or create your own" (@1:59 : ).
Currently, we are able to select pre-built sensitivity curves, but not create our own.

This functionality is incredibly important to me, as it would have offered a work-around for the thumbstick deadzone that is built into many games. This was the majority of my reasoning for purchasing this £120 controller.

Why is this functionality unavailable, and when will this functionality be made available?

False Advertisement by 343 Industries?

There have been no false advertising at all regarding split screen.

It's been well publicised on various websites, forums and twitter that there is no split screen.

I'd like to know the status of this too. Same issue. For me I don't want the controller if this feature is not present.

Hi Helmut,

Thanks for keeping us updated with your reply. Since you have updated your PC to the latest Windows build, if you're having trouble

updating the Elite controller using the Xbox Accessories app, then there may be an issue with the app itself if it isn't allowing you to update the controller. You may wish to run the App troubleshooter to see if there may be something with the app itself
that requires a "fix". Fix problems with apps from Microsoft Store

In regard to configuring your Elite controller, you would need the Xbox Accessories app for that as well: Use the Xbox
Accessories app to configure your Xbox Elite Wireless Controller

If you continue to experience issues updating or configuring your Elite controller using your Windows 10 PC, then you may need to attempt to do so from a different PC or an Xbox One console.

I hope that this helps a bit more and please let us know the results.

What is the legal definition of false advertising? Or the elements required to prove false advertising? Just so we can differentiate between that and normal advertising, which is always to some extent false and misleading.
