I would say its an issue with the game. Unless this is happening with other games ?

That is a very common issue, I'd recommend contacting support to try to get it repaired, if it's happening in other games too.

XBox One- I have heard from another source the issue may be a joy stick "sticking" due to dirt. Do you concur?
