Is this an error occurring within the game itself, as in a type of server connection error?

Or is this an error from the console?

Another suggestion we have here, attempt to perform a Soft Factory Reset by selecting the following:

Reset and keep my games & apps. You should use this option as your primary choice when troubleshooting. It will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or
apps. This will save you from downloading or reinstalling the large game files

Note: This step will remove profiles, so be sure to keep all information for signing into any/all accounts.

The exact error is The connection had timed out. Please try again later. and then I get An unknow error has occured. returning to start.

The game load and then it gives me the error. After trying both ideas, still getting the error.

As stated as of yet you cannot play single player but you can go it alone. There is some hint you might beable to do a private server sometime in the future so maybe that will happen.
