Fallout NV Ultimate Edition. Backwards compatible?

Hello everyone. I am , a new ambassador!

i have been doing some homework regarding DLCs from ultimate edition games. The main one i looked into of course, Fallout New Vegas.

I think it is important to know this kind of information before spending a larger amount on an Ultimate edition.

so whilst enquiring about this i find that you cannot use a dlc disc on xbox one if its for 360. this is due to some rights that could not be carried over. so usually you would just be buying the DLC again.

is their any truth in this i hear you ask? i don't know.... if anyone can shine some light on this situation that would help!

i have tried using the cloud, doesn't let me transfer, i have tried using a USB.... nope! so these are some things i have tried, their is no way around it.

i haven't tried an xbox 360 DLC disc yet, so someone could kindly confirm for me?

i haven't tried just putting in a game and seeing if it just installs the DLC anyways.... (although i have on other games i had dlc from marketplace and these worked).

anyways lets try and clear this up a bit more shall we? I can only do so much

The Skyrim Legendary Edition!!!

Its just another way of saying "Game of the Year Edition" it has all the DLC which you already paid for once. It wont effect your current game because you progress is saved on the Hard Drive not the game disc. I have Fallout NV and Fallout NV ultimate edition.
The UE came with all the DLC on its own disc. I can use either game disc to play and it makes no difference.

 

Will there be a GOTY edition for Skyrim?

I would no doubt buy a version that included all the dlc, like they did with Oblivion/Fallout 3/Fallout NV. I only have hearthfire for Skyrim. Waiting on a sale to buy the others, but if they do announce something soon then I'm all for it. An Ultimate Edition
or Complete Edition would be nice to see this year.

 

Putting the second disk in will install the game. Then go to my games and apps and then go to manage game under Fallout New Vegas and all the DLC will be their ready to install.
