Fallout New Vegas - Won't play

Hi all,

Was pleased to see that Fallout New Vegas had made the backwards compatibility list, but upon attempting to install it from my Xbox copy I was greeted with this message:

"This game is not playable here

For a list of Xbox 360 games payable on Xbox One, go to xbox.com/backCompat. (0x8082000c)"

I then thought I'd try and download it to see if it worked that way, so paid £11.99 and upon installation was presented with this message when I attempted to play it:

"This game may not be playable yet

If you are sure it has been released, restart your Xbox and launch it again. Otherwise, wait for the release date. (0x87e10007)"

Obviously tried restarting and launching again, but that didn't work.

Any help anyone can offer would be much appreciated.

Fallout 76 (X1)

The more I play this the more I wish I was playing Fallout New Vegas Remastered.

Fallout NV DLCs

I have Fallout New Vegas on the 360, and want to play it with backwards compatibility. The game works fine, but for some reason I can't get my DLCs (I had all of them) they don't show up anywhere and I can't download them. Thing is, I have fallout 3 as well
and all the DLC are there, and I can play them fine. Why won't they show up for New Vegas too? I would love to play New Vegas with my DLCs.

I would contact support about this, they may be able to give you a refund or send you somewhere where you can find instructions to fix it.

Chemical Locust,

Two things you can try. First and easiest, is to just uninstall and reinstall the game to see if that works. If it doesn't, then you can follow these steps to clear your local 360 storage:

Scroll left on the Home screen to open the guide.

Note Double-tapping the Xbox button will open the guide from any other screen on the console.

Select Settings.

Select All settings.

Select System and then select Storage.

Select Clear local Xbox 360 storage.

Select Yes and restart the console. This will not affect your cloud saved games or Xbox One games and profiles.

Let us know if you're still seeing the issue after the console restarts!

I haven't played anything other than Fallout 3 and New Vegas, so I won't say one of those is the best by any means, but each of Fallout 3 and New Vegas have their own merits and are completely worth playing separate from each other.

Old generation Fallout 2. New generation Fallout 3. Did not play original Fallout, just number two and Fallout tactics. Played hundred of hours of Fallout 3 and there is so much You can create game wise to creating Your own challenges. Fallout New Vegas
was fun, but really was no more then an upgraded version of Fallout 3. Sounds and character generation were the same from trogs in the Pitt to the tremblers in New Vegas and the sound effects in the Vegas tunnels borrowed from the Pitt. Would really like to
see some of the crafting and modding brought to Fallout 3 with a few new quests.
