Fallout New Vegas won't install/read disk.

Fallout New Vegas is on backward compatibility and i have a stander game disk and it keeps telling me it isn't playable here (0x8082000c) and i restated my xbox idk how many times it doesn't need an update and even tried reloading the disk a few times and
nothing will get it to download the game from the disk any idea why this is happening or what i can do to fix this?

Skyrim Legendary Edition Disc 1 Won't Play

Im having the same issue with my fallout goty and fallout new vegas ultimate editon where it'll read the disk but not show up or install from any of the 360 discs but plays my x1 game discs fine

 

Fallout NV Ultimate Edition. Backwards compatible?

Putting the second disk in will install the game. Then go to my games and apps and then go to manage game under Fallout New Vegas and all the DLC will be their ready to install.

Really sorry to hear you're having trouble installing Fallout New Vegas. To start out, do you have any other Backward Compatible games on disc you can try to see if you're running into the same error?

 

Is your disc in good shape? That could be the isssue. Xbox one discs are much harder to scratch, unlike 360 discs. The xbox one disc reader is much more sensitive than the 360 and therefore it has a harder time reading 360 discs if they are even slighty
scratched.

[TRY THIS]: I had the same problem with COD: Black Ops. My disc was scratched and even had a small crack near the center. It was telling me the disc wasn't playable. But I did get it to work though. I just kept re-inserting the disc. Eject the disc, rotate
it slighty, re-insert it. Keep doing this and you might get it to read the disc. Luckly since it only needs the game disc inserted to prove you own the game once it reads you shouldn't have any problems playing the game. Although the next time you put the
game in or close it and restart it, you might have to keep re-inserting the disc again. But a small price to pay, considering otherwise you will probably have to buy the game from the Xbox Store.

With Ultimate Edition you will have to have the second disc in while playing in order to use the DLC content. Again this being because you are only proving you own the game by having the disc in the console. It is reading and playing from your hard drive.

 

Having the same issues, Backwards compatibility from Microsoft is a massive horrendous human excrement. Another way for a big company to exploit. Great idea badly planned and executed games purchased online do not work offline cheers Microsoft for the rip
