Fallout: New Vegas & title update question

I just bought Fallout: New Vegas this morning and finished downloading it a couple of hours ago. When I checked if it was on the HDD that I downloaded it to, it was, and it also came with a file called "Title Update cache progress" with the exclamation point
symbol as its symbol. So I went on ahead and loaded up the game to make sure it works fine, which it does thankfully . So I figure I quit the game because I had to run some errands, but before I did, I checked New Vegas on my HDD again, and the title update
is fine now as far as I know.

I thought all this is interesting because Fallout: New Vegas is a game released back in 2010-2011 iirc, and Microsoft didn't start to put title updates in the game's main folder until about 2-3 years later. So my question is this: Is Fallout: New Vegas the
only old game that I know of that can have the title update placed into the game's main folder instead of to the cache or can some if not all older games are done the same way now?

[/quote]Well technically, Fallout 3 was the fifth title and New Vegas was the sixth (FOBOS was the fifth), but yes,
New Vegas shouldn't been Fallout 3 and Fallout 3 should've been some semi-cannon spin-off

What is youre favorite Fallout game and why?

I've only played Fallout 3 & New Vegas and I prefer Fallout 3 - hands down!

Hi, title updates above 5mb are stored in the game folder. Any title updates that are less than 5mb are stored in the cache. It has always been that way. So whether or not the game is a game from 2008 or from 2014, where the update is stored depends on
how big a size the update is.

Ah, I see. I've had the Xbox360 since December 2010 and I never knew that. Thought it was thing that originally started out with Mass Effect 3 or something, but if this has been going on for a long time, interesting to know. Ah well, I learn something new

Dark Souls, Oblivion, Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas and Two Worlds 2 is a decent title but hard to find.

the graphics are the same the lighting is just diffrent because ur ina diffrent area. new vegas is desert and fallout 3 is city more radiation. if u llok at the skies in new vegas u can see green streakes and patches from the radiation. fallout new vegas
is bethesdas title they had said that, obsidian just made it. it wont be called fallout 4.
