Fallout New Vegas on Game Pass cannot change language

Hello,

I live in Switzerland in the Italian speaking region and, sometimes games on Game Pass appear only in German, with no option to set them in English.

In some cases, it's enough to set the console language to English, and the game switches to English.

However, in case of several games from Bethesda, like Fallout New Vegas or Fallout 3, it seems the language setting is IGNORED, and the only thing that matters is the Country the account is registered in and, in case of Switzerland, which is a tri-lingual country, everybody has access to a single language version of the game, which is German in this case.

I think this is wrong. The original language of the game is English so, provided I set my console to English, I should always be able to access the English language version.

Similar questions on the forum were replied to this was Bethesda's decision but, now that Bethesda is owned by Microsoft, who's in charge to fix this problem ?

Hello,

From what I've seen Fallout New Vegas on console is region locked - so the region of your console will set the region of the game. This was due to the way regions were coded in hardware and in software that it is difficult to switch languages in backwards compatible games. For any changes to be made in the game in this regard, you will have to contact the developer. Xbox and Microsoft may only assist in issues pertaining to the console itself. All developers, even under our wing are in charge of their support within the game itself.

In game? Developer.
Out of the game? Microsoft.

I changed region to uk and language 360 to eng . But i bought both in xbox store . But both french version . In the game i can’t change language . Now microsoft gave me refund . But i want eng fallout 3 and fallout las vegas to in eng like it sais on store
. So i don’t understand wy french version

I installed Fallout G.O.T.Y edition with gamepass but when i go to my addons it says there not installed, im really confused

Fallout G.O.T.Y edition is not included on Xbox Game Pass. Only the standard versions of Fallout 4 and Fallout: New Vegas are currently included with Game Pass.

I hope so! I enjoyed Fallout 3, but LOVED Fallout New Vegas. I'm pretty sure something Fallout-related will be announced at E3. Cannot wait!

Yeah Fallout New Vegas, it's not that great but is till play it because I like the fallout series. I cannot wait till Fallout 4 comes out
