Fallout: New Vegas load freezing FIX!

I'm doing one last playthrough coming back from Skyrim and have had nothing but issues involving freezing and auto save corruptions.

I never experienced so much trouble with Fallout 3 compared to New Vegas, Idon't blame Obsodian for this, because the underlying problem is the Gamebryo engine.

It was a problem child in Oblivion, Fallout 3 and New Vegas.

Obsidian was given everything including source codes to make New Vegas and the game is less stable then Fallout 3.

I had hoped that the new "creation engine" would mitigate some issues, but You still have freezing, see through landscape and when loading saves where dead NPC's fallout from the sky in pieces or convulsing.

New Vegas is nothing more then an add to Fallout 3 and should have been incorporated into it's storyline.

Just saying.

I liked Fallout New Vegas more than Fallout 3. I felt it had more variety.

That being said, playing Fallout New Vegas corrupted my xbox. I was playing through the game and got the usual freeze, then when I turned my xbox off and on everything was gone.

Late 2012 (around XMas) or early 2013 (after Skyrim add ons). Creation engine is basically the same as gamebyo use on both Oblivion and Fallout 3 and Fallout 3's add on called New Vegas. It was an improvement, but stiull suffers from common issues from
the earlier games like freezing, bugs and glitches. Some issues are explained by Josh Sawyer in this article.

[/quote]Ah, but people say Skyrim is great but it was loaded with glitches too and people praise that game like the second coming of Christ. So your xbox freezes a couple times. Big whoop. Just save more frequently and you will be fine.

I think You both bring valid points to the table.

Mad cap is correct that New Vegas does share certain attributes with New Vegas.

Glitching, bugs, the same game engine that had inherently corrupted issues (see through NPC's, landscape, sounds, character generation, game loading and freezing to name a few).

I think You are correct in New Vegas as a slight improvement over Fallout 3 in additions like the companion wheel, weapon modding, and crafting.

I would certainly hope that there would be an improvement to New Vegas as a natural progression step as Skyrim was to Oblivion also must add that I still see many former players of Fallout 3 going back to replay as there was a great amount FPS/ Rpg style
game play, which means Fallout 3 has Staying power along with New Vegas for years to come.
