Fallout 76 with gamepass does not work

Have you had any luck? Ive tried all known solutions and im just gonna uninstall before dealing with beth support directly, I did the bat file thing, i did the ini manually , ive never been able to load the game through Xbox PC game pass with a high end gaming system and no issues running any other new high end game.

Hopefully they managed to solve the problem, it appears to be something specific to themselves since their friends are having the same problem. Thanks for contacting, you will always be welcome.

These are the issues i am having. I am getting no option for any update on the xbox launcher. I just installed the game not even 2 days ago. Last night was the very first time ever trying to log into the game. The first issue of having to put an ini file in a folder EVERY TIME i launcher the game is absolutely stupid. Is there any way around that because if i have to do it every time then ill just uninstall this game.. The second issue of the game saying i am out dated makes no sense whats so ever. How can a fresh install of a game be outdated when it legitimately just got the files from the server. I have looked the first problem up and it appears to be a VERY WELL KNOWN ISSUE that i cannot seem to find a fix for. The damn issue dates back to 2020 which is absolutely damn stupid also.

I finally had to reach out to support. The game has to be installed to the same drive as your operating system. I have 2 in my computer and i had the game installed to my e drive since its my bigger drive for games. Switched the game over to my c drive and the errors went away. Its pretty much yet another unfixed bug to add to the list. Support of course knows of the error but have done nothing lol

I hope it helps you out and you can move your game back to your bigger drive and still be able to play.
