Fallout 76 will not update or run

    Fallout 76 will not update or run


    I have Fallout 76 and have been playing since October of last year, I really enjoy playing this game and it's nice to be able to build things. Yesterday a patch was released and I was not able to install it. The download starts then it gets an error, you click the retry button and it starts for a second and then get an error again. I have uninstalled the game, reinstalled it on a brand new hard drive and it still does the same thing. I have shut off my antivirus and firewall, and have all admin rights on the PC. After it failed to update I tried to restart the game and got another error saying that the game could not launch. Is there a fix for this problem?

    I appreciate you trying to fix this on your end, but I am afraid there's an ongoing issue for this game. Bethesda are aware of PC users on the Microsoft Store experiencing issues with the new download after the update, and they're working with Microsoft towards a fix.     I enjoy RDR 2 and Fallout 76. RDR 2 comes out with weekly updates, I believe, that makes the game top notch. Fallout 76 is having a major update soon that will change a lot of the gameplay in April.

    Red Dead Redemption 2 and Fallout 76 are pretty good. Fallout is going to have a new update soon that looks pretty good.

    iam having the same issue. cant connect to any fallout 76 server because my fallout 76 client seems not up to date. there are no updates available for me to install thorugh xbox app.

    id like to take a trip through appalachia ! :(
