Fallout 76 Refund Not Eligible?

I bought Fallout 76 with high hopes, but after playing for a while my data has been erased nearly three times. One time, all of my progress was deleted, and twice over all of my inventory items deleted (This is all post-release, not in the beta.) I understand
you cannot get refunds after 30 days of purchase, but this game is defective and broken on my side, and I would like my money back as it is not the product as advertised. I want to know why they will not give me my money back.

Did I need to buy the pre order version of the game on the xbox store?

I recently bought Fallout 76 and I'm not getting any notification for getting access to the beta. I checked the store and there was the Fallout 76 I bought, and one that said "Fallout 76 Preorder". If there is a difference that will prevent me from getting
a way into the beta, how can I fix this/refund the game to get the Preorder version?

That is correct, I have requested a refund already and it was denied. No reason, though, was given on specifically why it was denied. Also, while I really do appreciate help with troubleshooting, I don't enjoy the game. Even if the bugs were fixed, I'm trying
to get my money back to buy another game (Red Dead Redemption 2)

Okay so we understand that your refund request has been reviewed by our team and at this time we are not able to refund your order. So in this case the best you can do since the refund was denied is to
reply to the confirmation email sent to you. When you submit a refund request and they get back to you via email, you're able to respond back to their email with any questions you may have in regards to their decision.

This game is so bugged out glich of a game I cant believe you people at xbox don't know that ??? I have been gaming for over 20 years and have xbox live for at least 15 years and have never asked for a return on anything ,,, tons of movies and games I
have downloaded over your site ,,, I for one and im sure im not the only that will never buy a game over xbox live again ,, my bad but I have learned a very valuable lesion ,,,, zero returns on xbox live don't even ask ,,, for now on only gamestop will get
my money

 

The refund policy on Xbox Live is very similar to that on Steam. The purchase must have been made in the last 14 days and played for no more than two (2) hours.

As to retail purchases, none take back opened NEW games. GameStop may take back used games you buy from them in a limited period.

The only way to keep up with this, you would need to reply to the email where it was telling you it was denied. The refunds are done all through the website now and unfortunately even support will tell you to follow up with the email. Ultimately if still
wanting a refund and they deny you, you can go to the bank and dispute the charge with them.

As of typing this, I have been granted a refund despite being denied one twice. If you wanna try for a refund too, follow the steps I took:

1. Make note of every game affecting glitch you come across.

2. Contact microsoft customer support through chat or phone and troubleshoot (Troubleshooting WILL NOT fix the game’s glitches, but the agent will write it down and make note of attempted troubleshooting on your account.)

3. When filling out the form, make sure to mention that the game is defective, and falsely advertised. Make sure to tell them of how you troubleshooted, and nothing worked.

 

Microsoft/Xbox didn't make the game, Rockstar did.

If you've got an issue with the game or any game in the future, you'll want to contact the developer.

 

The game was made by Bethesda, and to get a refund you have to contact the service that you bought it from. For troubleshooting though, youre right, you have to go to the developer.

 

The game is so bad they should give everyone a refund no questions asked.

If you were denied, I don't even know what you can do at this stage. You were sold a broken faulty product so I feel for ya.
