    Fallout 76 PC game pass not working


    Hello,

    I am having multiple issues with Fallout 76... I initially installed to my S drive, and it didn't work at all. I googled this and found that it needs to be on the same drive as the installation of windows. I moved it to C drive and it worked. I got my character to around level 3 and called it a night

    Tried to jump on again last night - every time I tried to access the game, the Xbox app took me to the Microsoft store to download some game app. I did this and still no joy

    I have tried uninstalling the game, but now cannot reinstall it - it instantly fails and gives me this error - 0x87e00017

    I've tried updating Windows, uninstalling and reinstalling the Xbox app - nothing is working

    google doesn't seem to be able to help with this one, nor does any article I've read

    any help would be greatly appreciated

    i bought pc Ultimate game pass, then i bought fallout 76 on pc Ultimate game pass.

    fallout 76 is free, on steam and bethesda.net, it is the account you pay for.

    Thank you for your post. To answer your question, Fallout 76 on Game Pass for PC only allows for multiplayer interaction with others who are playing the PC version of Fallout 76. Cross play is currently not supported by the game.

    Xbox Play Anywhere Trouble

    The Pc version of the game cannot be downloaded unless you purchase that version through: Fallout 76 - PC - Microsoft Store or by subscribing to Game Pass for PC.

    Regarding your question, I am not sure I understood what you exactly meant.

    If you are talking about the save data, then no it will not transfer as this requires the game to be Play Anywhere.

    I don't think it was Fallout 76. It was Fallout 4 that was added to game pass on E3.
