    Fallout 76 on PC Gamepass - Profile Privileges message


    I download Fallout 76 on gamepass for pc, and get the message "Your profile privileges do not allow you to play multiplayer games. Please select a different profile." when I try to play it. I have seen many people have
    this same issue where their issue was solved. I have tried these 'successful' methods, and none of them have worked.

    -run as administrator

    -updated OS

    -repaired/reset app in app settings-moved disc drives

    -restarted app several times

    -logged in and logged out

    -I'm sure I'm missing one, I've been trying for several hours

    Anyone know how to fix this? I'd ask through official support means, if I could figure out where that is exactly. The only method I haven't tried is moved it to my OS drive, which I can't, because my OS drive is tiny (by design).

    Seeing how many people have this issue, I'm truly surprised that Microsoft/Xbox haven't made a statement on how to fix it, seeing as how hard they're pushing gamepass.

    i downloaded the fallout 76 xbox game from game pass and launched in it in xbox companion on on my pc. It launches to the load screen but when i select play it gives me the profile privileges message.

    Yes you do need Fallout 76 to use it. The game is on gamepass, so you can download it on the PC from the Xbox app.

    Unfortunately the PC version of Fallout 76 is not cross save compatible with the Xbox version of the game. If you play on GamePass streaming or an Xbox console you'll have to start at the beginning.

    Why would I reach Bethesda if the issue is with gamepass?

    Fallout 76 will not launch, with no error messages, I have tried all main articles found and there is no fix I can implement.

    Could someone please tell how to open a ticket with gamepass support (I use windows 11 PC I guess is the same Xbox Support people, right?)

    So far Xbox Support is unresponsive and really hard to open a ticket with them, there is no response.
