    Fallout 76 ( Gamepass PC ) works on Install, but will not start a second time


    I have Fallout 76 for gamepass, but it just crashes after I play a consecutive time after the first time I install it. So it loads after I first install and play it, but not after that. A black window will come up as if it is loading,
    then just go away.

    Then the only error I can find is in the even log, but I cannot find anything on this issue.

    This is also after a complete re-build of the laptop also. It did this previously before I rebuilt it also.

    Unfortunately the PC version of Fallout 76 is not cross save compatible with the Xbox version of the game. If you play on GamePass streaming or an Xbox console you'll have to start at the beginning.

    Yes you do need Fallout 76 to use it. The game is on gamepass, so you can download it on the PC from the Xbox app.

    Damn if Fallout 76 joins GamePass I would be so damn happy!

    I would say No Mans Sky should join GamePass. It's a great game but also had a very rocky start. GamePass could boost this as an all time favorite game since it will get massive exposure

    Hello Josef and John,

    I have the same problem with Fallout 76. So it can't be due to the PC and the settings. The Xbox app claims the game is very playable on my system. I have already started several attempts, installed several times via the store and the Xbox app. Since I bought the game and didn't get it with GamePass, it's doubly annoying for me that it doesn't work.



    I have to keep reinstalling the game to run at least once. Only all my characters are then deleted.



    I'm open to more suggestions!
