Fallout 76 Game Pass PC black screen on launch

i downloaded the fallout 76 xbox game from game pass and launched in it in xbox companion on on my pc. It launches to the load screen but when i select play it gives me the profile privileges message.

I tried this for fallout 4 and my problem persists

I ask that before trying any solution, make sure your windows 10 is version 21H1, for that go to your settings>system>about. If the system is not up to date, update it by windows update.

*If you are already fully updated, please try the solution below.

Go to your documents, and in the Fallout76Prefs config file, change the fullscreen to 0

I guess it was the fullscreen causing the issues

i bought pc Ultimate game pass, then i bought fallout 76 on pc Ultimate game pass.

fallout 76 is free, on steam and bethesda.net, it is the account you pay for.

Thank you for your post. To answer your question, Fallout 76 on Game Pass for PC only allows for multiplayer interaction with others who are playing the PC version of Fallout 76. Cross play is currently not supported by the game.
