Fallout 76 data missing??

I understand. Well, deleting your Fallout 76 saved data files can resolve some errors. Please be aware that while deleting the save data, it will reset your Options settings, and no character data or game progress will be affected, this will delete all saved photos and they will not be restorable. Make sure to back your photos up before proceeding.

Navigate to C:\Users\user.name\Documents\My Games\Fallout 76

Delete the Fallout76 and Fallout76Prefs configuration files

See if this helps. If Fallout 76 is not installed there, open your drive partition and search for Fallout 76 that you'll find the correct path.

I would not recommed it even if it was added to game pass, Fallout 4 is still much better. They just wanted to monetize on the Fallout name with 76 but hugely missed in my opinion.

Well today's the big day. After this post I will begin copying over everything on my Xbox to an external drive. Profile, settings, data, apps, games, ect. Then I will turn off my Xbox, disconnect the drive (to be certain I don't delete it's data) 1st remove
Fallout 76 and data from my Xbox (not the cloud) then my profile. 2nd perform a proper hard reset. 3rd re-add my profile then Fallout 76. 4th test it out 🤞 I will be back after everything is complete to give an update on how things went.

1. Change Network Settings: Open the Control Panel in Windows. After opening the control panel, set the “View by” on the top-right corner to “Large icons“. Click on the “Network and Sharing Center” option. Here, click on the “Change adapter settings” link on the left panel. Now, right-click on the active network adapter and select “Properties“. Go to the “Networking” tab. Here, uncheck the “Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)” option. Click on the “Ok” button to save changes. Then close all the windows, restart your PC and try again.

2. End the Gaming Services Process: Open task manager, go to “details” section and there find “gamingserives.exe” process. End this task, then it should restart after a few seconds. After that open your game.

3. Reset the Xbox App: Click Start and click Settings. Select Apps on Select Apps & features. Find the Xbox app and click Advanced options. Click Reset. Restart your device so that the changes can take effect. Sign in to the Xbox app and check if the same issue occurs.

4. If the issue persists, you may need to uninstall and reinstall the game.

The Pc version of the game cannot be downloaded unless you purchase that version through: Fallout 76 - PC - Microsoft Store or by subscribing to Game Pass for PC.

Regarding your question, I am not sure I understood what you exactly meant.

If you are talking about the save data, then no it will not transfer as this requires the game to be Play Anywhere.
