Fallout 76 bundle

I recently purchased a new Xbox One X bundled with Fallout 76. I downloaded the game on the home console and then the new console for game sharing.

The game will only launch under my profile though. If my wife tries to play under hers, it won't launch.

Anybody else encounter this?

So it brings me back to my purchase history but the product (fallout 76 gamescon bundle) shows no option to refund. But I have no way of using the product.

We both sign in on the home, she starts up the game there under her profile and I sign out and join up on the other console?

That's my interpretation from here and other readings. If that's wrong I'd appreciate any advice.

You have to set up your profile as an Xbox Home so you can play without problems

Thanks for keeping us updated with your replies. I know it may sound confusing, however, we are here to help out with this home console question. As our Ambassadors have stated, if you haven't already done so, you may set your profile as the Home Console
profile on your wife's console (console #2 here) and sign out of your profile afterwards. This means that your profile (where the games licenses are located) is set as the Home Console profile, allowing all other players on console #2 to play games and have
access to subscriptions from your profile. You'll still be able to sign into your profile on your console (console #1) but it will no longer be the Home Console, so you cannot share games/subscriptions on console #1.

I recommend that you have a look at our support article entitled, How to designate an Xbox One console as your home Xbox, to further familiarize yourself
with the Home Console designation and what you're able to achieve with it so that can maximize your use of your games/subscriptions.

if you set your wife's console as Home for your account, your wife signs in on that and you sign in on the other xbox.

you only need the 1 copy of the game as long as your wife is playing on your Home console.

this works for all digital games as far as I know (and from my experience of game sharing with my daughters)
