Fallout 4's Fallout 3 bonus code already used

When I received an XBL message with my F4 bonus code to access the BC version of F3, it tells me that the code has already been used. I've tried redeeming it on this site, on the Xbox app, and on both my X360 and XOne consoles, all with the same message.

I was also given this error code when I put it in on this site:

Preordered fallout 4, no working code.

i preordered fallout 4 3 months ago, just today i got the code for fallout 3 but the code is already used

Where did you purchase Fallout 4? If you bought the disc version of Fallout 4 and the Fallout 3 code has already been used, unfortunately we won't be able to replace the code.

Hey, GG! This is likely because this is the second time the code was sent to you. If you pre-ordered early on, the code was likely sent to you then, and then sent a second time to ensure it has been redeemed.

You can determine if it's on your account for sure by going to the
Fallout 3 360 page and clicking Buy Game. If it says you've already purchased this, then it should show up in your Ready to Install page tomorrow when back compat comes out! Keep us updated on if it's asking you to purchase still or if it doesn't show up
tomorrow.

Fallout 3 was the preorder bonus for Fallout 4. If you purchased it at a retailer that offered New Vegas, you would need to contact them for the code.
