FALLOUT 4????

@DJ you never played a Fallout game? Thats shocking. There is a listing up on ebay for it

Fallout as an MMO would be interesting but it would probably end up something like DayZ where everyone just finds ways of killing/humiliating each other. Unless they found some sort of game mechanic to encourage actual co op play (maybe offer factions you
can join and you can't kill people in that faction so you'd at least have some people to co op play with. GIve some benefits of joining factions too, and of course make some factions rivals of others ).

I wouldn't mind a Fallout MMO, as long as it didn't replace Fallouot single player (like I expect they will still be making a TES single player game too). I think it could be interesting if they did it right (course with how TES online appears to be shaping
up who knows if they would actually do it right).

As for the person who said Fallout Vegas with DLC surpassed 3 despite 3 being his favorite game, I feel very similar (except I don't even think I needed the DLC). 3 was my favorite game (even surpassing Skyrim before that, heh) until I played Vegas.

Also, the original Fallouts are pretty good too. But they are definitely different games (gameplay wise). Apparently they also are known for being buggy despite being a different developer.

 

I know I complain about Skyrim but I would LOVE a Fallout 4.

I purchased Fallout New Vegas a few months back on Steam for the PC while it was on a Steam sale, it's fantastic. Even more so on a 32" HDTV with the graphics maxed out and the resolution set to 1920x1080. Looks far better than the 360 version. Then there's
the mods..

Same is true for Skyrim. Looks fantastic maxed out.

On play them both with a Xbox 360 wired controller.

From what I just gathered from a quick skim read on the Fallout wikia... Interplay started it but then a legal dispute with Bethesda over who owned the name all kicked off and the original project was cancelled. Although, if I've read it correctly, Fallout
Online is still a thing but presumably it's still in very early stages to make way for full development on Fallout 4 (I'm guessing).

Here's the link to the V13 wikia page. You can read through it and get yourself up to date with all the messy legal issues. I've always used this site as a fairly reliable source for updates on the franchise so you can most probably trust it. Project V13

 

We won't be seeing Fallout 4 until 2015.

Don't be so sure. They've had plenty of years to work on it and every year, loads of AAA games are first announced at E3 and released just a couple of months later.
