    Fallout 4 won't launch with an error code


    I bought the game on the xbox app, downloaded it, and when starting it, it just says it is missing the "c:/ProgramFiles\WindowsApps\Mutable\BethesdaSoftworks.Fallout4-PC_1.21.0....\Fallout4Launcher.exe" file and this error showed up even after reinstall. my game is NOT LAUNCHING! Help pls!

    Nope. I only have it as a manifest file. When i try opening th game from the FO4 launcher app it tells me that windows can not access it.

    I do have Avast, but i already put the app on the whitelist. do you think that it could be that i have the file i need but avast is blocking it? I will see if i really do not have it. otherwise thanks!

    Where did you purchase Fallout 4? If you bought the disc version of Fallout 4 and the Fallout 3 code has already been used, unfortunately we won't be able to replace the code.
