Fallout 4 will not move past the intro screen.

I get the S.P.E.C.I.A.L cartoon, again and again, but it won't move past onto any sort of menu and no button I push seems to have any impact.

FIFA 16 (Digital) issue with Xbox One

This happened to me last night. I did the power cycle and that didn't fix it. Decided to play some Fallout 4 for a couple hours, then tried FIFA 16 again.... it sat at the intro screen for about 30 seconds, and then started the game up normally. Not sure
what was going on?

 

Xbox Live not working for 4 days now. FRUSTRATED!

i've done EVERYTHING as far as checking the connection/resetting my router. it never gets past the initial "loading files" screen after the intro......

 

Hey mate,

Have you updated to the new xbox dashboard? Make sure that you have, as this can affect the game.

If so, I'd reccomend giving your console a hard boot, as that may kick it into gear. YOu can do this by having the console on and at the dashboard, then holding down the power button on the front of the console for 10seconds until the console turns off.
Then wait a minute or two before turning it back on. Try again and let us know how you go

Well my interface did indeed change over the weekend, although I didn't actually do anything to initiate it. I also did a hard boot, but no luck. I have seen all 7 of the opening cartoons so many times I am starting to dislike them, and no combination of
control button pushing will either stop them or continue to whatever is supposed to come next.

This is getting pretty old.

I would appreciate any other suggestions you have.

 

Mr. Maka, you asked me to start a new thread, but this thread was just started and concerns the same issue.

Again, at least in my case, the issue only occurs when it is wireless.

Latency: 76 ms

Wireless strength: 100%

Also it's not a problem if i turn the wireless off, but it's a bit hassling to turn it off/on or to move the ethernet cord from another device to the xbox to enable a wired connection.
