Fallout 4 vs. The Witcher 3. Which is better?

Fallout 4 is my first Fallout game and I am loving it. I have heard really good things about Witcher 3 and am wondering if I should pick up a copy of that also? Which do you think is better?

could there be a new fallout 4

There better be a new Fallout in the coming. Bethesda would be stupid not to (hell, every time Bethesda is mentioned in an article inevitably some one asks where Fallout 4 is... though sometimes that person is me ).

Fallout 4 is why I bought next gen really. Witcher 3 though will probably be the first game to truly justify my purchase since I sadly think Fallout 4 will come out after it (even with the delay on Witcher 3). Which means I could have waited til next year
to buy next gen (nothing is coming out for it this year that is all that exciting . I was thinking I'd at least have Witcher 3 *pout*).

 

What game do you think should be considered the game of the year 2015?

Fallout 4. I like Halo 5, I like The Witcher 3, but I love Fallout 4.

 

Witcher 3 hands down easily by far.

 

I think fallout is better but you should definitely play the Witcher

 

I think both are great and if you like Fallout 4 you won't be disappointed with the Witcher. It's a great game too. My personal GOTY.

Im enjoying Fallout 4 now but my first hour not so much. Never had that doubt at any stage when playing the Witcher 3. Witcher 3 it is for me.

 

The Witcher III is great at leading you on an adventure , while Fallout 4 lets you make your own.

My only gripe with Witcher III was 3rd person controls and the inventory system; believe they addressed the inventory system shortly after I quit playing.

So in answer to which one "is better"? For me it would be hands down Fallout 4.

Inventory navigation is still tedious, and the controls are literally the worst enemy in the game.

 

Witcher 3 is an wrpg with guy that has a wicked pony tail, Fallout 4 is basically oblivion from 2006 on a modern x86 machine. I mean take your choice, both great games, both take a while to finish.

 

Both are great games fore sure... ive beaten witcher 3 but I like fall out a lil more than the witcher and I haven't even finished fall out yet....the witcher also has some of the best graphics ive seen for an xbox game while fall out lacks in that department
with the character models..i will say the witcher 3 is a lot harder than fall out but you will put in a ton of hours into either game.

In my opinion you should play both at some point, both fantastic games.

If I had to choose though, easily Fallout 4. Just like with Fallout 3 it took me a while to get going but once I got 25-30 hours in it just had me hooked! and it just grows and grows on me the more I play it. For me the best game so far on the new gen consoles.

 

this is definitely one of those 'play both' moments as both games are hard to compare.

Personally i prefer Fallout 4, but then i like my characters to have guns over swords etc. Witcher 3 was/is still getting rave reviews from everyone i know that has played it.

I have both sat at home waiting to go.. hope i get some game time in before divison releases though as after the alpha im definitely buying it
