Fallout 4 randomly on xbox 1

When I turned on my xbox this afternoon to buy fallout it said install instead of purchase so I was just wondering why it happened and what I could have done. So the only real thing me and my family have come up with are it is pay afyer download or it carried
over from a friends account.

Preordered Fallout 4 on my Xbox One

Have yet to receive my Fallout 3 code

Received codes for Gears 1 and 2 though

Hi, if someone has made your Xbox One his home Xbox and purchased Fallout 4, then the game will also show up in your Xbox for you to play. That could be why you get manage instead of buy. If however this has not happened, then it could just be a mistake
by the Xbox servers, sometimes it happens, even if you download it, you won't be able to play it.

 

Now I can play it just fine but it is not owned but us so we cannot get fallout 3 which is one of the things I wanted so is there a way to track how we got this for free

 

The only way you would have got it for free is if someone you know logged in on your xbox with their account and made your xbox their home xbox, then when that person purchased Fallout 4, you would have got it on your xbox as well as the person who purchased
it. There is no other way you could have got it for free.
