    I bought an xbox one x just to play fallout 4 and the game is awful. I mean I love the game but I cant play it without it lagging so bad that its almost not even fun. The game lagged so much without mods I decided to get mods and believe it or not it actually
    made it look and play better. Ive downloaded all the fps mods, deleted old saves, restarted console and nothing fixes it completely. Sometimes when i restart console I do notice a significant improvement but dam, the console has one job and it feels like it
    can’t handle the game. I don’t understand how a computer can play it effortlessly but this “new high tech console” can’t, Obviously its nowhere near as “powerful” as microsoft claims. Im also playing on a 4k smart tv. Anyway is there any known way I can keep
    my texture mods and play without lag? I know alot of people say to play it on a gaming pc but I would really prefer to be able to sit on my couch and play. Is there a way of hooking up a gaming pc to a 4k smart tv and if so do you think its worth it or should
    I wait for the xbox series x?

    Bethesda's website     that there will be a patch for Xbox One X, but they have not announced a date yet.

    While I can appreciate your interest in more mods for Fallout 4, this is really just a community forum and none of the official Microsoft team or Bethesda will see your post. You should try pitching this to them directly.

    In any case, to support more mods Fallout 4 would need to be updated to a full Series X|S title. The recent update is a backwards compatibility X|S update, it's not a native Series X|S title.

    Only the Series X has extra RAM. The Series S has the same amount as the original Xbox One and the One S. Plus, the PC modding community for Fallout 4 generally have PCs with much higher memory availability than what's available to a console.
