Fallout 4, no audio and no lip movement

Hey so I got an Xbox Series X (from Argos) on Jan 1st (yay) and I just bought Fallout 4 (Xbox One CD, no DLC) from CeX (I'm in the UK) for £1. Anyway the game loads and then during the character creation, there is no sound for the dialogue unless I pause the game and then the dialogue runs. Then I unpause it and then the subtitles run and the lip moves. Then I have to pause it again and repeat until I can finally make my character. Then after I've done that, I make the character there is no audio still, but now when I talk to the girl or the robot the subtitles run and then I have pause it to hear it. When the mailman came, I have to pause it to progress the game as then the dialogue runs and I can get to the to options. So you can clearly see my issue here, I don't wanna read everytime and miss out on background dialogue (there is background music btw that runs fine) and I don't wanna pause the game to progress the game, as then that's when the choice options come up.

What do I do? I deleted my files and uninstalled it and then reinstalled it and the same thing happens.

I also have Halo Masterchief Collection which I got from the Microsoft Store and this runs fine (currently on level 3 of Halo Reach) and I also have Doom 2016 (Xbox One CD) that I got from CeX for £2 which also runs fine (currently dying a lot). Anyway, what shall I do to fix this problem? Do you think this is a problem coz Fallout 4 is second hand? But Doom runs fine?

So how do I fix this Fallout 4 problem?

Also say I bought Fallout 4 from the Microsoft Store and the same problem happens, what shall I do then to fix it?

Asking lots of questions in 1 go, because I won't be able check this post until a while later. So I might as well ask everything in one go.

Edit: I'm playing on some 4k HITACHI TV btw, I think it's 50 inches?

Thank you for contacting the Xbox Support forums. It's great that Halo and Doom are working as intended on your Xbox console! It is possible that you are receiving these errors because of the nature of off-hand titles. If you are able, I would recommend purchasing an official copy of Fallout 4 before attempting to troubleshoot the game further.

By chance, have you considered a Game Pass Ultimate subscription for your Xbox console? Fallout 4 is a title that is available with a subscription so you will be able to download Fallout 4 along with several other titles. Otherwise, you may purchase the game through the Microsoft Store or through an official local retailer in your area.

I’m on Xbox live ultimate etc, new Xbox series s, exactly the same problem as OP after download. Unplayable. Was working fine with disc on Xbox One.

It's the same language so the lip movements will be the same --' (that's the advantage of dubbing in the same language, it's very much similar)

what samsung models should i look at? i just took a samsung ue32eh5000 as it had terrible audio lip syncing, it was speaking before their lips would and i could do nothing about it, took it back and got a second one and the second did the same thing.

if your a samsung user could you state which models you have and if you have had problems like i did with the audio lip syncing?
