    Blue. Sorry, I could of swore I replied to you the other day. But yeah, some kind of tool to sort load order's should of been in place tbh. It doesn't matter to much for one or two mods, when you start to download a few more though, a little help sorting
    them would be nice.

    I been reading about mods being stolen from nexus and reuploaded to Beth. net, it's not good tbh. A few of the author's have totally removed their mods until Beth does something about it. Then there are other authors who are going to implement a form of
    drm so mods can't be used on console.....not a good situation tbh. People just need to be patient and give the mod author's time, most who could move their mods probably would do, but people threatening them and acting idiot's have messed it up for everyone.

    To make it worse, it's causing a rift between console gamers and PC gamers. I ended up arguing with some moron on steam about this, he didn't want to believe that the people who were stealing the mods were actually probably pc gamers looking to get recognition
    and donations for other people's work. As far as he was concerned, console gamers are the cause of every world wide problem. The sooner Beth does something to calm the situation the better.

    New Fallout 4 Texture Mode to improve visuals on the console announced.

    Fallout 4 Creation Kit 1.5.3 Update: Optimized Textures Support for Xbox One

    Bethesda Game Studios

    •Today at 10:00 AM

    Today's Creation Kit update adds the ability to optimize textures for Xbox One. If your mod contains textures, all you need to do is re-build your mod archives and re-upload your Xbox One mod to Bethesda.net.

    The update does require a new redistributable for Visual C++ 2015. To properly install the new redistributable, you can uninstall, then reinstall the Creation Kit in the Bethesda.net Launcher. You can also download it directly here.

    NOTE: CreationKit.ini will get reset when you reinstall the Creation Kit. We recommend using creationkitcustom.ini for your custom settings.

    XB1 TEXTURE SUPPORTPrior to this update, mods used PC textures on Xbox One. With help with Microsoft, the Creation Kit is now able to post-process textures optimally for the Xbox One for improved performance. Optimal textures are now placed in a separate
    Texture archive.

    We will be reaching out to top modders with Xbox One Mods that have textures, reminding them to update their mods with the new Creation Kit.

  5. @GS, yeah... I'm thinking (maybe read as hoping) that it might start sorting itself. I've noticed several modders, lately, that are definitely asking for permission to use others' work and they're providing links to the actual responses from OG authors when
    they post their mods, as proof that they haven't stolen anything. A lot of people won't DL a mod if they think it's stolen, but there are always a few that won't care either way.

    @Genchy, that's the best idea IMO. I started a new game as well. Also a good idea to be prepared, if there's a conflict that crashes the game and it can't be recovered... At one point I actually had to scrap a game and start a whole new one, but it was early
    so it wasn't that big of a deal.

    Best thing to do is start off with just a few and read the author's description. They're pretty good at pointing out potential issues and conflicts that they're aware of.

    I agree though, mods are what revitalized my interest in the game.

  7. I haven't touched Far Harbor either. Read that it's pretty large.

    Been too busy playing Neverwinter again...and grinding. But it's a fun, and varied grinding.

    Probably start FH this weekend.

  9. I haven't played Witcher... and I really don't know why I don't have a lot of interest in it... probably because I never played any of the previous games. I hate starting a game when it's in the middle of a series and I don't see myself buying everything
    I'd need to play from the beginning. I'm a bit OCD like that I guess lol.

    FH is definitely a good add-on and decent sized. Also @brand, I remember commenting on the Mechanist DLC not long ago and telling you that I felt it would be beneficial to actually play it as it was introduced into the game as opposed to finishing everything
    and playing it "separately". Since I started a new game, I can verify that it definitely is designed to fit right into the game. Certain things happen that wouldn't really happen if you choose to go through the Mechanist plot line all at once.

    One thing about the unofficial patch that has been mentioned on the Bethesda forums that you might want to know... it has a bug that causes you to be permanently cloaked if you
    use a stealth boy. Would be pretty annoying for those who like to use that.

    @Blue without derailing. Not playing the revious titles or having no lore knowledge really wouldn't be an issue. You could dive straight into 3 no probs.

    Back on topic I like Fallout and turtles.

    From what I understand the Mod limit is 2Gb of Downloads at any one time. You can go back and Delete Downloads to try new ones. They are also all free. I have no idea if higher texture mods will ever be offered.

    How are you guy's getting on with the mods for the X1? Any problems with the mods or Bethesda.net?

    There are some problems. A lot of texture mods aren't working properly, especially the face morph mods, but some people can't get any re texture mods to work. Bethesda is aware
    of it and are "looking into it".

    The majority of problems outside of that seem to be with "new to modding" users that don't understand load order very well. I've been doing a good bit of reading up on it, as my
    game has started freezing a lot just trying to get to the splash screen and I know I'll probably need to do some shifting around.

    I started a new game, so haven't run into any characters that I've downloaded face morph mods for yet... but so far, once I finally get the game to start properly and load my save,
    it seems to be doing OK with the mods I'm using.

    I'm thinking about just temporarily disabling the face morph mods I have, until they get that whole issue sorted. That's a bit of a shame... those mods were some of the ones I
    was really looking forward to. Hopefully they'll be fixed soon.

    The only other big issue I see a lot of complaining about is piracy... not pretty.

    It's early though, so hopefully many of these issues will get sorted soon enough.
