fallout 4 isnt working

fallout 4 isnt loading up or letting me in to play ive done everything reinstall uninstalled bought a new game cd of the exact same game it says i dont own the game when the game is clearly in my cd drive im on the original xbox 1 and when it does load it loads forever on the please stand by or when it gets to the menu it just loads and loads

Yes, this reset removes all games from the console, what you can do with the screenshots and captures, is to make uplod to the cloud before doing the procedure, as for the saves of all games they are automatically saved in your account on Microsoft servers.

ive clearly played the game before on a different cd i lost and i got a new one exact same copy of what i have and now its having issues

By placing the game CD you can install the game completely, it gives 100% installation, if yes, what happens when you try to start the game, because after the game installed xbox uses the CD only to read the license of the game.

This is really weird, you tried to perform a full reset on the console by deleting all the games and then reinstalling the game?

Xbox One reset keeping Games:

Press the Xbox button to open the panel.

Select system > Settings > System > Console Information

Select Reset console.

Reset and remove everything.

Note:

-You need to know the email and passwords of your accounts when performing this reset.
