Fallout 4 is FREE!

^You're misinformed... the Digital Deluxe Edition comes with the full game AND the season pass. Therefor it's the same thing as GOTY, you still get everything. I've seen (and I bought) the DD Edition when it went on sale in Deals With Gold... for $65.99
In short, I basically have the GOTY edition of the game already, before all the DLC is even out and I don't have to wonder how long I'll have to wait for the price tag to drop...

One thing that I've learned is that buying a game day one is only worth it if you really like the game. Otherwise, just wait until EVERYTHING is included in the GOTY Edition

Regarding the brief DLC discussion on page 1, omg... I can't express how disappointed I am with what FO4 gets. 2x story DLCs and 4x workshop. Remember how good the DLC was for Fallout 3 & New Vegas? Lots of story added and new locations? Well gg... So happy
they raised the price of the season pass because it sure is worth it /s.

 

@ LF, Ummm that's... actually the point I was making. The Digital Deluxe bundle includes EVERYTHING, season pass and all... same thing as GOTY... that went for over $100 on day one. I waited until I saw it on sale in Deals With Gold and got it for the price
of a regular game...

Just the other day, I saw the regular (no season pass) edition of FO4 on DWG for something like $30. The way I see it, considering the publishers' sales in the MS store and Deals With Gold running sales, those who simply keep an eye on the GWG/DWG tile on
the XB1 can get GOTY type deals without actually having to wait until a game is GOTY. I did with FO4. The fact that I do really like the game is just icing.
