Fallout 4 freezes

    Fallout 4 freezes


    So Everytime I'm at the main menu it freezes but when I click the home button on the contoller, it unfreezes. Even if Im click on settings or load it will freeze and I have constantly keep using the home button. Any advice? Sorry about the crappy grammar

    Freezing is common in Bethesda games unfortunately, especially in Fallout 4 and Fallout 76. Nothing you can do about in really, as Indy said a SSD speeds things up and reduces the freezes, but doesn't eliminate them completely.

    Thanks for that,it's not breaking the game for me and some performance mods that were recommended on other forums have really helped the micro stutters but the freezing is still there. Never had it with Skyrim though.

    So long as there's not a problem with my X's hard drive,which it what I was really worried about,then it's all good.

    Are you using any mods if so delete all mods another trick can do is clear reserve space in my game and apps power cycle your console for ten seconds uninstall your game then install it. when doing mods do your research before install them. when doing
    mods you a bethesda account .yes i do have fall out 4 game is great game and very large . if you need help go bethesda help. com.

    Xbox series S closes games once idle.

    It closes the game (Fallout 4) to the dashboard as though I manually closed the game. Only Fallout 4 game of the year edition is installed and no mods.It also freezes in certain areas.

    Fallout 4 yes please with a side of amazing...if they decide to remaster a previous Fallout than sweet pickles i'm all for it just pleeeeeease don't remaster the freezes as well..I have yet to have a game freeze on me on the One and really want to keep up
    the streak.
