Fallout 4 far harbor

They also posted on the Fallout 4 game hub, something about mods being released... I'm thinking the middle(ish) of this month. Or maybe next...

So I have a question about all the dlc so far. I'm getting this game plus all available dlc next week. Does the dlc need to be started a specific way or can you stumble upon it during your playthrough of the main game? I don't want any of the dlc quests
activated until after I'm finished the main game.

 

Your given a location to start the Asaultron DLC, but even if you accidentally started it, it wouldn't make any difference as the choice is yours on when you would choose to follow it. If I did another run through I would do Assaultron earlier though
as it would have advantages, and it's perfectly integrated with the game so it's no different from any other quest you would choose. As Harbor DLC is located on an island that will have to be travelled to, I expect that to,work the same as Point Lookout
from F3.

I wanted to do like you, finish the main game first, and that's what I did. I had actually started another character since I wanted something different and also to do a few things differently than my first run through, so I had a good bit of main story to
do when the DLC hit. I went ahead and finished the main story first... and TBH... I'm thinking I shouldn't have.

The DLC says somewhere (can't recall where I saw it) that it's recommended for level 15 and above. IMO, that's probably the only 'avoiding of it' I'd do if I did it again. It really is well integrated enough, that if you didn't already know it was DLC...
you'd never know you were playing it.

 

Believe the Far Harbor D.L.C. starts after you complete the mission "On The Case" from what I've read.

Pulled myself away from the Witcher for this dlc. Gonna go through it for achievements, then back to the Witcher, then back to Far Harbor on my modded playthrough lol. Plenty to keep me busy for a while.

 

Im going to wait until I have completed Blood and Wine, I'm in full Witcher mode at the moment. Love that game. I think if I had to choose between Fallout and Witcher to save from a sinking ship I would drown as I wouldn't be able to make my mind up.

 

Are mods available for xbox now Genchy?

 

I finished the story Saturday. Back to my 2nd witcher play thru before I tackle the wastelands again.

Fallout 4 mods come to Xbox One in May, PS4 in June

Can't be too much longer. Would be nice if they included it with the DLC... or maybe they did? I haven't downloaded it yet, but I will be tonight.

 

mods are not available yet for consoles but there is a beta sign up at bethesda.net i believe the beta is only for the xbox one and from what i read mods disable achievements
