Fallout 4 did not receive credit

Support told me to try and get this resolved on the forums. I never received the $10 credit for downloading fallout 4 for free. I was told that someone might be able to give me my compensation. Can that happen?

Bought fallout 4 on xbox store and did not receive fallout 3.

 

The $10 credit was a Microsoft Store promotion so you would have to contact support at microsoftstore.com. If you purchased the games digitally, you would not have been eligible.

If you are a rewards member, you would have received 15,000 credits instead of the $10 gift codes.

 

How is it a Microsoft store promotion if the game was downloaded from an xbox? Even then, you just told me that if the game was purchased digitally, I am not eligible. Except for the fact that the only way to be eligible is if you downloaded the game when
it was glitched free. Also, xbox rewards has nothing to do with this. This seems more like a copy and paste answer. Multiple people have told me multiple things, and someone from support, (who was very helpful) told me to make a post here as a last resort.
So, can anyone help me get my compensation?

 

Are you referring to the $10 code when the Fallout 4 pricing error occurred? I apologize if I misunderstood your original question.

 

Yes I was. I posted here in hopes of gettingthe credit. Support told me that this was my best shot.

In order to qualify for this credit, you would have needed to obtain Fallout 4 during the time when it was incorrectly priced. If you were eligible for this, you would have either received a $10 credit on your account or a $10 currency code in your live
messages.
