Fallout 4 Dec 09 update alert

The Dec 09 XB1 update resets all your game settings to default make sure to go in change them all back.

It returned ALL settings to default. Game Play, Controls, Display, and Audio.

Thanks Bethesda.

It would be nice if Bethesda would SHOW PLAYERS RESPECT for playing a mediocre game and leave OUR settings alone.

Haven't received Fallout 3 code.

Hello, I preordered Fallout 4 on 11/09 and haven't received my Fallout 3 code.

I preordered Fallout 4 on Thursday, July 09, 2015. I never received a fallout 3 code.

 

If you think the game is mediocre then why are you playing it?

 

Bethesda should also leave Brittany alone.

 

Gross. I really hope this is a problem with Xbox Live cloud rather than Bethesda actually reseting user settings. It is absolutely tedious to try to get things back exactly as they were before, especially the RGB sliders for HUD and Pipboy. Gonna have to
go through and compare with screenshots I had taken by exporting to OneDrive and checking the colour values. But no idea on the audio sliders. They're going to be messed up and it's going to be really irritating.

Disappointed that I skipped over my usual policy of reading forums to find out what patches messed up before installing them.

 

Patch may or may not also have added some really obtrusive slow-loading of lighting effects which you can see if you walk around Boston on a sunny day - the shadows are fading in in front of me as I walk around. This looks TERRIBLE. I dunno if it's just
my last save being corrupted by Trinity Tower bugs that is causing it (I'd stay away from that area if you haven't been there yet, I think it causes bugs). I hope it's just a bug in my game and not a patch thing.

 

i downloaded the update right after work, just assuming it would go fine. ha! the download itself was fine but it took about an hour for the xbox to sync fallout 4 files accordingly. after like 10 mins of syncing i got bit nervous and started seeing online
possible issues. luckily, it finally got all sync'd and took me to the main menu and i picked up where i left off. that said, it did feel like a little...slow/laggy when i played a bit. the evening was kinda shot for me with the update and the time it took,
then the game felt slow so i ended up just quitting for the night. hope its better today or they have a hotfix or something. i was so nervous last night waiting because i had a corrupt file issue with FO3 on 360 many years ago. lost my main guy, like 100+
hours etc. i was starting to think i was cursed with FO and saves.
