Fallout 4 Data is gone?

I've been playing Fallout 4 a while now. A week or two ago it said it needed to update, but I didn't want to wait for the download so I just switched to offline and kept playing.

Yesterday, when I tried to play I found that a good chunk of my progress was missing, and only an earlier save file was playable. I thought by going online and updating this would solve it, but it has not. Where have my newest save files gone? How do I fix
this?

This new update sucks

Also, even if you did do a factory reset, your Fallout 4 data is also on the cloud if your console is connected to the Internet.

Sync cloud data not working again and again....

I am having sync problems with Fallout 4. Every time I want to play I get syncing data for Fallout 4. On Saturday when it did this it took 3-4 hrs. All these problems started after my xbox one did an update

Hi,

if you was online at the time, try removing the save date by doing these steps.

1. go to fallout 4 in my games and apps, just highlight the game.

2. Press on the menu button and then go to manage game.

3. Go to saved data and Press A on it and delete from console.

4. Boot up fallout 4 the cloud will come up.

5. See if this solves your problem

Stupid me, i realised that when i went to load, Fallout had moved all my recent saves to the very start of the list (right under the very first saves of the game) all is well!

Will it remove our data from fallout 4

Same occurrence here! I recently had trouble with logging into gamertags on my Xbox One when offline, so I called Xbox support. The rep had me clear persistent data and also clear the MAC Address before deleting the troubled profile and redownloading it.
I asked him if it would delete any saved data on my local drive, since I do not have access to internet on a regular basis. He assured me it would not delete anything... low and behold all of my saved data is gone on my Xbox! Way to trust support!!! 200+
hrs of Fallout 4 gone, 50+ hrs of Ark gone, and every single other game gone!
