I purchased Fallout 4 on November 9th, 2015 and did not receive my Fallout 3 code after 10 calender days.

I have not received my Fallout 3 code after 10 calendar days.

 

I dunno, i just have a sneaky feeling. Not sure why.

For once i hope i am wrong tho.

From what they showed it looks basically done, so fingers crossed all goes well.

 

E3 it looked basically done but with the information coming out after the fact it looks to be far from done especially the mod support that got so many people excited.

Mod support will now be released after the game comes out and they admit they have no idea how they are going to do it. When you look at the restrictions of closed consoles it's looking more and more than mod support will be nothing like people are expecting.

Makes you wonder what else won't live up to the hype.

 

Yeah but mod support may have been somewhat out of their control, if they've been sat waiting for permission to port mods across, there is a good chance they'll be working on it after the game is released.

 

The mod support was never coming at launch, so that isn't a worry. I'm sure they wouldn't announced it in the first place if they had no idea how to implement it at all.

 

It's the same problem that we always see at E3 or with any big announcements.....the guys in charge will make bold promises yet when the guys that actually have to make it happen discuss it.....it's not nearly as optimistic.

As someone who's used mods on the PC for nearly 30 yrs I already have very low expectations knowing how they work on the PC and why 90 percent of that won't work on the consoles but they have given people very high expectations that won't be met and will
only lead to a bunch of disappointed gamers.

 

I'm so looking forward to this game. I even started playing Fallout 3 again, the PC version though because it looks better than on the 360. And it runs better. I'll buy the digital version of F4 on the One. Don't even care if it will cost more.

Not majorly fussed about mods myself. Each to their own though.

 

The mods are just bonus.....Well, they are for me. As long as I get the vanilla game I'll be more than happy.

 

Hmmm, was thinking of getting it for the PC as i modded the crap out of Fallout 3, BUTTT pre-ordered my copy for the Xbox One. If in future i want to mod it i'll grab a copy in a Steam sale or something.

Bird125, or you could try being a little less defensive. The mans allowed to have an opinion, and i agree with him to a degree. If people are expecting the amount of mods available on the PC to reach consoles, they'll be disappointed.
