Fallout 3 redeem code error

I preordered the Fallout 4 and received the Fallout 3 code, but when I redeem the code on my xbox one, it did not work. The system said " something is wrong". Help please.

I'm in the exact same boat. Redeeming through the xbox.com site, both the webpage and console are set to Australia, as is my Billing information and credit card details (as I am in Aus) however keep getting an error code which seems to relate to incorrect
region (based off the error code look up) attempted to contact support but they seemed to be unable to help. (Error code Xbos-0x80150017) even tried changing the webpage region but that gives a different error code.

 

Have you tried redeeming it through the console it worked for me as it wouldnt work through the website.

Sorry to hear about the redemption issues. If you're living in a different region than what your account is set to, you may run into issues like the one that you're describing. Cross-region accounts aren't supported I'm afraid.
