    fallout 3 pc non-steam version dlc


    I bought Fallout 3 years ago from a retail store before the GOTY version was available. I bought the 5 expansions separately on Games for Windows Live. When I try to log on to Games for Windows Live, it gives me an authentication error. I can't access
    the DLC that I bought because Games for Windows Live won't log in. Is there any way I can download the DLC for pc?

    Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas were working until a recent update.

    I'm playing non-Steam versions on a PC.

    I usually get everything on the first version and never wait to get the GOTY edition. Only because most DLCs for most games I can live without. The only games that have come out with DLC that I feel I need have been Fallout 3, Fallout NV and Red Dead Redemption. Since I own both Fallouts on the PC, and are much better for the PC, I just got the DLC for my PC. RDR, however, is the only game that I have gotten DLC for and I don't regret it, its DLC was spot on. The only other DLC I've been thinking of getting is for GTA IV but at this point I think I will wait for the GOTY version...if it ever comes out.

    That being said, I can possibly help you with your error. What's the exact error you're receiving when you try to log into the client? We can start from there and get into some deeper errors if need be. fallout 3 pc non-steam version dlc :)

    Fallout 3 non-GOTY retail disc DLC downloaded but not recognized

    The Known Experience Concerns states that the retail non-GOTY DLC discs should work if I have the digital version of Fallout 3, which I do.

    "Fallout 3: You will only be able to play disc based DLC for Fallout 3 if you also own the digital version of the game. Disc based DLC includes the Broken Steel and Point Lookout disc and the Operation Anchorage and The Pitt disc. This restriction
    does not apply to the Game of the Year Edition."

    So in my case, it should work but does not. The DLCs are downloaded but not recognized when they should be.

    Hey, no, it only occurs with fallout 3, also my windows is up to date i checked it, the issue is known to occur because of fallout 3's compatibility issues, since it was intended to only be played in windows xp. but unlike the steam version, the Microsoft version can't be fixed with the known methods for the steam version.

    Hi,

    Fallout 4 or Fallout 4 GOTY are not Play Anywhere titles. If you want to play it on PC you'll need to purchase the PC version. I wouldn't buy it on the Xbox app though as currently (07/07/23) it's on sale on the Steam store at 75% off.

    Also, unlike the Xbox App version, F4 on Steam supports external mods from Nexus mods. The Xbox PC version doesn't.
