Fallout 3 GOTY DLC Backwards Compatibility

Hello Everyone,

I am having an issue with installing and uninstalling The Pitt DLC for Fallout 3 on my Xbox One. I downloaded 4/5 of the DLCs plus the main game no issue from the 2nd and 1st discs, respectively, of the GOTY edition. However, The Pitt downloaded too but
does not show up on the Downloads screen in-game. I tried purchasing the DLC separately but that did not work either. Now I am not able to uninstall The Pitt or any other Fallout 3 content from my Xbox One consistently. Any advice on how to proceed would be
helpful.

If you have the GOTY edition, you shouldn't need the DLC disc. Manage your Fallout 3 game and see if the DLC's are available to download from there.

Here's the current list of games that are available for backwards compatibility. Alien Isolation is already available on Xbox One so I'm not sure if they will make it backwards compatible.

The XBOX One never asked for both discs. I did put the second disc in to see if it would trigger the DLC to download/activate, it had no effect.

This wasn't an issue with Fallout 3 GOTY, just inserted the disc, the XBOX One downloaded the backward compatible version and the DLC that came with the game was already there and ready to go. Didn't need to insert the second disc or anything.

Thanks for the reply. I would recommend contacting the developer or the
Fallout 3 Community Forums. They should be able to provide you more information about their games content. Like I had mentioned though it may be caused by the fact that it is the Game of the Year edition and not just the standard edition which is part of
the Backwards Compatibility list. Hope this helps.

Thanks for reaching out to us here on the forums with this situation. I understand you're having issues installing DLC for Fallout 3 Game of the Year Edition. If you take a look at the list of Available
Backward Compatible games you'll notice that it says Fallout 3. That would mean that the base game itself has been made backwards compatible. This does not apply to all DLC's for all backward compatible games. Its odd that only one of the DLC's is giving
you issues. Was it working previously? Let us know with a reply.
