FO3 and New Vegas are similar games, same developer, only couple of Years between them.

One works and other don't ... Not a computer wiz by any means, but I doubt partition has anything to do with it ...

It's the darn X-Box app that is somehow the culprit ... at least that's what I think.

Anyway, thank you for the effort, but I give up on the FO3 on PC.

Sven, do you have the game installed on a different drive than C:?

If yes and you don't mind, could you try installing the game instead to C: drive?

If not, do the opposite. Create a new partition and try installing the game there.

In case you want to know how to create a new partition:

After that select your new partition as where new content is going to be installed via Windows settings > System > Storage > advance storage settings.

If that doesn't work, create a new local user on your PC and see if you're able to open the game or the same error screen appears:
