Fallout 3 dlc installed but not working?

Okay so i downloaded fallout 3 via the code i received from purchasing fallout 4. The thing is, way back when you could purchase DLC for fallout 3 on xbox 360 via discs they sold in stores. I have these discs and it isn't the GOTY, these are separate discs
they sold before goty. I installed the broken steel and point lookout disc and it says its installed, but it still prompts me to purchase it and my ending is the default one at the end i receive no option to carry on into broken steel even though it has been
installed? Can someone help

DLC 360 on One

I have a fallout 3 problem myself. I have fallout 3 GOTY, my game disc does not read well on the one but the 360 it reads fine. the dlc disc of fallout 3 is fine and can read on the one.

Because I preordered fallout 4 I got fallout 3 game itself for download but no dlc with it so I put in the dlc disc and the console installed the dlc no problem. I run the game and check downloads and none of the dlc shows up at all not even when I load
the game but it's on my game manager as installed...

Fallout 3 DLC Transfer

I installed The Pitt DLC for Fallout 3 on my Xbox 360 using the Pitt/Anchorage disc. On my Xbox one, I have Fallout 3 installed digitally. The DLC, however, does not show up on the One.

Hey there,

In order to use those DLC's you'll need to keep the Add-on DLC disc in the console. The disc is used to authenticate and ensure that you own the content in question. If you insert the disc into the console while playing are you able to advance to the DLC?

Remove the DLC's and just insert Fallout 3. Manage Fallout 3 and install the DLC from that screen.

I have the GOTY of fallout 3 and it works perfect! my only problem was figuring the dlc for the game I would install the dlc but it would not show when i load the game...... I find out when you install fallout 3 then the dlc you have to keep the dlc disc
in the tray in order for the dlc to work unless you bought dlc from the store this is how you play the game...

since yesterdays update the Fallout 3 Disc 2 works fine and it is the only disc you need to install the game and the DLCs and to play the game.

But the DLC "Operation Anchorage" is missing ??? !!!
