Fallout 3 DLC Discs

Alright I have Fallout 3 DLC discs from way back. The ones that were release Pre-GOTY Edition. 2 Discs each containing on them only two DLCs. Now I understand that this issue is going around. I have been able to install the DLCs on to the Xbox One, but Fallout
3 does not see them on the Xbox One. Has anyone heard if they have figured out how to get the Fallout 3 game to recognize the DLCs that have been installed? So far when I click the Downloads section of Fallout 3 there is nothing listed, and it sends me to
the Purchase screen to buy the DLCs again. Thats not happening, and I did the whole two button press and pulled up the 360 Launcher and looked into the memory section of the system and other than the saved games for the games I downloaded to the xbox the DLC's
are not listed in this memory. So I am at a loss. Any information as to what is going on or if its been figured out and how to fix it would be very helpful. Just havent been able to find any information as to what to do or whats being done here or else where
on the internet.

Will the game and DLC discs work on an Xbox One?

The reason Hexic HD never showed up, is because you never actually purchased it. You can however get it from the xbox.com website, and once you do it will show on your xbox one in the ready to install section. The dlc for Fallout 3 is compatible. What
you didn't say is which version of Fallout 3 you have (game of the year or the seperate dlc discs) the xbox one should recognise the discs and install the dlc.

 

What happens when you load the game with one of the DLC discs inserted?

I know that for my Fallout 3 GOTY, the DLC is only detected if Disc 2 (the disc containing the DLC) is inserted.

 

There's no current solution for Fallout 3 DLC discs because you can't install the DLC on the One and you have to have the main game disc inserted when you play. You can rebuy the DLCs' digital versions, which probably isn't a big help.

 

See thats the thing. I was able to install the DLC's to the Xbox One. I have gone into the Xbox One memory and have seen each individual DLC, which for me is four out of the five, in the memory. They just wont show up in the memory of the 360 emulation.

since yesterdays update the Fallout 3 Disc 2 works fine and it is the only disc you need to install the game and the DLCs and to play the game.

But the DLC "Operation Anchorage" is missing ??? !!!

 

So this trouble shooting, does the Xbox 360 fallout 3 goty edition dlc disc installed content get uploaded to the cloud and downloaded to the Xbox one hard drive?
