Fallout 3 code "Something went wrong" when trying to redeem it.

I got my fallout 3 code a few days ago from pre-ordering FO4, but whenever i try redeeming it on b oth xbox.com and xbox one i'll get the "Something went wrong" error. I was told by xbox support that i could get a replacement code by posting here, so i'm
hoping i could get some help.

Hey there, BarkingGecko! This error code means that something has changed on the 360 Marketplace in regards to the offer. We do not replace tokens, only provide tokens that were originally given to you. It appears that you did not receive this through Xbox
Live message as we do not have a code we are able to provide for you, so you likely got this from a disc based version of Fallout 4, correct?

That looks like a website specific error. Are you receiving the same error when you redeem it on an Xbox One or Xbox 360? Give that a shot if you haven't already. If you are still unable to redeem it, please send me a private message with the code that you
