Please post the error code you're receiving so we can further assist.

If you're receiving the error code '0x80150017', that would indicate a regional issue with your account/console. Luckily this issue has a quick fix, check out the steps over on this
error code troubleshooter and give them all a go.

If you're still having trouble redeeming the code you'll need to reach out to Phone/Chat support for assistance with your account region.

If the code you received inside your game case with the Purchase of fallout 4 is not working. You may want to contact Bethseda (game creator of Fallout), and ask them for a new code as the one in the game should of worked.

Xbox Reps may also be able to help out, providing they can check a code to see of its authenticity.
