Fallout 3 code missing from retail fallout 4

My retail copy of fallout 4 is missing the fallout 3 code. The spot on the back side of the "vault dweller's survival guide" where it says "redeem your code for a free copy of fallout 3" is blank, no code was printed on mine.

I've been emailing with Bethesda and they have come to the conclusion that it is Microsofts problem. Any help or guidance to resolve this would be great, thanks.

Missing Fallout 3 code

I received a message from Xbox with my Fallout 3 code. I was busy playing Fallout 4 and didn't redeem the code. When I got a message from Xbox with my Gears of War codes, I realized the Fallout 3 message was missing.

How do I recover it?

@NISMO -- Have you tried contacting the retailer where you purchased the game? That would have been the first place I would go.

@JTrice -- Create a new thread or contact support and ask them to re-send the code.

Fallout 3 was the preorder bonus for Fallout 4. If you purchased it at a retailer that offered New Vegas, you would need to contact them for the code.

If you Pre-order Fallout 4 as a download through the Xbox Store, Microsoft will send you a code within 7-10 days to download The Xbox 360 version of
Fallout 3.
Pre-order Fallout 4 at retail, and you'll receive the
Fallout 3 download code when you pick up your physical copy of
Fallout 4.

Hey there, holm3sy1984! If you bought the physical copy of Fallout 4 and there is no Fallout 3 code in there, you will want to go back to the retailer. The only Fallout 3 codes that we give here are when users purchased the game through the Xbox One Store
and was sent a code through the message center. Thanks for understanding!
