Fallout 3 code message from Fallout 4 preorder expired

I pre-ordered Fallout 4 on Xbox one via the Xbox Live store and was later sent a message with a code for Fallout 3. However, I was unable to redeem it at the time due to inability to redeem 360 games via messages on Xbox one (feature I should request
on feedback forums). So I then found out I could redeem via Xbox website. By the time I got around to that I went to go redeem it in mid August and found the message with the code is gone. I contacted XBox support via chat and they indicated all codes are
managed by Bethesda and I must contact them. They gave me a link to the Bethesda site and said the message is unrecoverable and Bethesda would have to issue a new code.

I contacted Bethesda technical support at the link I was provided by the Xbox rep and got a copy-paste generic message a few days later that all purchase issues would have to contact Bethesda store support and they could not assist. I submitted a ticket
to Bethesda store support and received an automated email that a ticket was generated, further that email indicated if I attempt to update the ticket it would reset my position in the queue. A week later the ticket was still waiting to be assigned so I contacted
Bethesda technical support again. I got the exact same copy-paste message as before to contact Bethesda store support.

So it's now been another week, Bethesda support still hasn't assigned my ticket, and I'm wondering if anyone here can grant any insight into what else I could do, either with Xbox support, recovering expired messages, or dealing with Xbox live codes that
third parties are responsible for, as the Xbox support rep had indicated. I just keep feeling like this relatively small matter is one no one wants to deal with Or wants to pass it along to someone else.

If you received a message on Xbox Live, it should be recoverable and you shouldn't need to deal with Bethesda support. Hang tight and wait for an Xbox Support member to read this. They should be able to verify your order and then send you a PM with the
information you need. Hope this help ease any confusion or frustrations you might have.

I have the exact same problem. Did you figure out how to recover it? I just spent and hour and a half on the phone with Xbox customer support and got nothing...
