Fallout 3 code from Fallout 4 pre-order not working

    Fallout 3 code from Fallout 4 pre-order not working


    I'm trying to redeem the Fallout 3 code I received from pre-ordering Fallout 4 but am getting this error message:

    0x80150017

    Looking up this error on xbox.com/errorhelp states "Sorry, something went wrong. This isn't available for your region, or the file is corrupted, or we don't recognize the format."

    Is this a backwards compatability issue or a region issue because I'm trying to redeem the code in the same region as my Fallout 4 purchase.

    I have tried changing region to UK and US, but that didn't help. (my current region is South Africa)

    This is extremely frustrating.

    Sorry to hear it. If your region is South Africa but that is not where the game was purchased from then that would be the issue.

    What country do you physically live in? Some content cannot be downloaded to regions they were not originally intended for.
